Javon Walker robbery was cleared

It happened two years ago, but one of two defendants still pleaded guilty Friday. They involved in a deal with prosecutors in the robbery of wide receiver Javon Walker onced wearing raiders jersey after a night of Las Vegas club-hopping.

Arfat Abdo Fadel sentenced guilty to robbery, second-degree kidnapping and conspiracy in the attack that left Walker unconscious. They dropped battery and conspiracy charges along with a first-degree kidnapping count that could have gotten Fadel life in prison without parole. Walker wouold be testified as soon as Wednesday. He had sustained an offseason knee surgery before being dropprd last month by the Raiders which signed him in 2008 to a $55 million contract with 6 years.

It is said Fadel was expected to have at least two years and could face 15 years in prison at June 28. Walker stayed in the hospital for two days with facial injuries and a concussion because of the robbery. He also said $3000 in cash and $100,000 worth of jewelry had gone.

Santonio Holmes ius troubled in the case

Wide receiver Santonio Holmes with steelers jersey won't be charged with any crime for his impolite behavior throwing a glass and caused a laceration above a woman's right eye.

Orlando police told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that the case is closed since Anshonae Mills declined to press charges and issued a signed statement that said: "I refuse to prosecute the perpetrator for the incident." Per a police report, the investigating officer watched Mills smiling and "rubbing Holmes’ face" after they talked following the incident at the nightclub. Holmes is still facing a civil lawsuit asking for more than $15,000 in damages. Mills has claimed that the former Super Bowl MVP threw a glass of liquor at her during an argument over a seat on a couch in a VIP room.

Holmes has told ESPN, "he didn’t do anything."

Judge dismisses Wade lawsuit

Star Dwyane Wade with heat jersey in his legal battle with former partners in a failed restaurant venture.

A federal judge has dismissed a $90 million lawsuit claiming that Wade violated antitrust laws by walking away from the D. Wade’s Place enterprise. Wade’s former partners contended Wade sought to monopolize sales of memorabilia and personalized items. The judge rejected that, noting that consumers can buy merchandise featuring other NBA stars and celebrities. The partners’ attorney said Tuesday an amended lawsuit will be filed containing new arguments. Wade still faces a breach of contract lawsuit stemming from the restaurant venture.

Wade said ina statement he was pleased the judge found no basis for the lawsuit.

Cardinals re-sign LB Beisel

eteran linebacker Monty Beisel will be continue to wear the ardinals jersey. The team re-signed him today among a host of moves made by the club.

Having lost linebackers Karlos Dansby and Chike Okeafor already in free agency, the team needed to bring Beisel, an 11-year veteran, back in order to not have a completely bare cupboard. It’s expected that the Cardinals will place a high priority on linebacker in the draft, maybe even more so now that Joey Porterhas been pinched for DUI in Bakersfield, Calif.

Beisel started last season with the Kansas City Chiefs but rejoined Arizona midway through the season. He’s a key contributor on special teams and that is a need area for the team too after Sean Morey departed in free agency for the Seattle Seahawks.

Lissemore is busy

According to a league source, William & Mary defensive tackle Sean Lissemore may have the chance to wear NFL jerseys for his workouts with the New York Jets and New York Giants.

The pounder had an impressive pro day on March 17. Lissemore ran a 4.85 40 yard dash and posted a 30 vertical jump. Niners coach Mike Singletary represented one of the 22 NFL teams that were in attendance at William & Mary’s pro day. They guy's speed is his most attributes. The 22 years old senior ran the 100 metere in 11.2 secondes back in his New Jersey high school days.

At the same time, Lissemore will meet other teams such as Cardinals, Seahawks and Jaguars in the near future.

Ben's agent may block the bathroom

A bodyguard for Ben Roethlisberger with steelers jersey was blocking a club bathroomin which the guy allegedly sexually assaulted a woman.

Rocky Duncan, manager of Capital City bar in Milledgeville, Ga., tells ESPN that a female friend of the accuser told him that a man had denied her entrance to the restroom when she tried to locate the accuser. Duncan says the woman told him: "I think my friend is in the bathroom with Ben, but the door [leading to the bathroom area] is locked, and I’m trying to get back there, and this guy wouldn’t let me through."

Duncan adds that the woman also told him, "I think my friend may be drunk." According to Duncan, per ESPN, the accuser’s friend "did not seem frantic."

Mike Williams is busy

Former Syracuse wide receiver Mike Williams will wear miami dolphins jersey to conduct a private workout on Thursday.

He is also scheduled to visit the Baltimore Ravens on Monday. Williams was the top wide receiver in the Big East Conference until a split with the program in November with coach Doug Marrone insisting that the Buffalo native quit the team. Williams was adamant during an interview at the NFL scouting combine that he didn’t quit the team and said he detailed the circumstances of how he left the program to NFL teams during meetings.

Jets’ Edwards signs tender

Wide receiver Braylon Edwards with jets jersey signed his tendor and reported for the first day of voluntary offseason workouts Monday.

His tendor worth $6.2 million-which would have required another team to give up first and third round draft picks to New York. Running back Leon Washington(notes) chose to not attend the workout, and is one of New York’s four restricted free agents who haven’t signed their tenders. Washington, a fourth-round pick in 2006, received a second-round tender. Agent Alvin Keels said on Twitter that Washington, a Pro Bowl kick returner in 2008 who’s recovering from a broken right leg suffered last season, will weigh his options while rehabilitating.

Colts promote Christensen

It is said that Clyde Christensen with colts jersey is now the offensive coordinator in place of Tom Moore and Pete Metzelaars.

Christensen was previously the assistant head coach and receivers coach. Now, former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Ron Turner is the wide receivers coach. Brady Quinn's foot is ok

QB Brady Quinn with broncos jersey says he is healthy again. His foor is ok now.

The former Notre Dame star passed a physical Tuesday that finalized the trade that sent him to Denver, and he said his left foot injury, a severe Lisfranc sprain that forced him to be in a walking boot for two months, is no longer an issue. "The foot is good, I appreciate you asking," Quinn told Denver reporters. Quinn didn’t require surgery for the foot injury, but he also dealt with a broken finger in 2008 and ended that season on injured reserve.

He’s hoping his fresh start in Denver also includes good health.

"Football is just a way to bring me closer to what’s important for me," Tim Tebow said. So there was Tebow, minutes after putting on a show for NFL teams during Wednesday’s pro day workout at Florida, throwing a football with wheelchair-bound Alex Ross, a 17-year-old from nearby Jacksonville who was shot in the head in January and lost the use of the left side of his body. Ross threw a football to Tebow, who caught the ball and summed up the day’s events: "Let’s see (them) come over here and critique that."

NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said from the Senior Bowl to now, the improvement is ridiculous and he was blown away.

Gailey is serious to choose starters

Players with bills jerseys would not expect the new coach Chan Gailey to choose a starting quarterback anytime soon.

Gailey said Tuesday he anticipates holding an open competition to determine who will win the job, And there are three guys on the roster. "We’re trying to leave no stone unturned," Gailey said. "Unless something different happens between now and post-draft, to me it’s an open competition for the job and we’ll see what happens. … We’ve got to see who can rise to the top."

Since hired as coach identifying a starter has been Gailey's top priority.

Wright returns to Heat after arrest

Dorell Wright with heat jersey was back to practice on Monday. He had been arrested on a driving under the influence charge and being suspended by the team for two games.

Wright did not speak specifically of the circumstances surrounding him being charged on Miami Beach around 3:30 a.m. last Thursday with DUI and driving with a suspended license, citing pending legal matters. He did, however, say “the thing that disgusts me the most” was feeling that he let the franchise and its fans down, especially during a playoff chase.

“It was way out of character for me,” Wright said, his eyes reddening. “I definitely apologize.”

Pike and Gilyard

If quarterback Tony Pike and wide receiver Mardy Gilyard want to wear broncos jersey, they need to show more ability.

The Broncos conducted a private workout for the Bearcats’ tandem this morning, according to sources with knowledge of the sitiuation. We’ve been told that the Broncos sent offensive coordinator Mike McCoy and quarterbacks coach Ben McDaniels to the workout. Pike reportedly had a good throwing session during Wednesday’s workout session that was attended by 26 NFL teams, including San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Singletary.

And Gilyard improved his 40-yard dash time to 4.47 seconds after clocking a disappointing 4.56 time at the NFL scouting combine.

Ex Redskins FB Eddie Williams joins Bears

Former Redskins FB Eddie Williams will wear bears jersey. The Bears put another pass-catching option to their backfield Wednesday.

Williams didn’t see any regular-season action as a rookie in Washington. After being selected in the seventh round of the 2009 draft out of Idaho, he was cut before the start of the season and landed on the Redskins’ practice squad. He was promoted to the 53-man roster Nov. 2 and was inactive for three games before breaking his leg in practice and being placed on injured reserve Nov. 23.

Williams was one of 10 players cut by the Redskins last Thursday.

Karl to miss Wednesday's game

Players with nuggets jersey would not see their coach George Karl Wednesday’s game at Minnesota as he undergoes another round of cancer treatment.

Karl, who has neck and throat cancer, was scheduled for a surgical procedure Monday to have a feeding tube inserted into his stomach. He will also go through another chemotherapy session Tuesday. Karl was diagnosed last month with cancer and is undergoing a rigorous six-week treatment program of radiation and chemotherapy.

He hopes to be back on the sideline Friday when the Nuggets travel to New Orleans.

Jazz past Clips

The Jazz recovered from another slow start and rolled over the Los Angeles Clippers 107-85 on Saturday night, giving Utah its 40th win of the season in a vital home game that was sandwiched in between road trips. Utah outscored Los Angeles 56-35 in the second half and atoned for getting upset by the Clippers earlier in the week.
“The first half, we couldn’t run on the floor. We couldn’t really do what we’re used to doing,” said Mehmet Okur, who had 27 points to lead the Jazz. “The second was different. We want to be different. We wanted to be active from the beginning.”
